In my opinion I think my chosen biotechnology, 3D bioprinting, is beneficial rather than harmful because of it is ethical in providing an option to those who could die without replacement or fixed tissues and organs, saving the lives of animals, and the efficiency and accuracy of this biotechnology over others.
Although there are ethical concerns of enhancement of the human body due to having an engineered organ, it would be wrong to deny this service to those who desperately need these engineered organs to live. We do not deny those who want plastic surgery because of the additives used to enhance their physical appearance, so how can we deny humans this. When the world is fortunate enough to have advanced technology to save lives, both animal and human, it would be inhumane not to use it.
In conclusion, 3D bioprinting is an extraordinary biotechnology that can bring impactful results and change the lives of many people.
